The Health Information Operations Supervisor (HIOS) is responsible for client/customer service and serves as a knowledge expert for the Health Information Specialists (HIS) staff. The role focuses on front line people management and training, as well as ensuring processes are completed in compliance with established guidelines. This role may also assist leadership with planning, developing, and implementing departmental or regional projects. This role provides support to the Health Information Operations Manager. The HIOS will be responsible for maintaining workflow and productivity of HIS as well as handling escalated situations and driving a positive work environment. The HIOS will also assist in the new hire process, meeting with clients, and developing staff at one or more sites.
Work Location...
This is a hybrid role supporting 2 sites in Poughkeepsie, NY. Traveling to, and working at, these sites is required at minimum 3 days per week.

The Inpatient Auditing Specialist will respond to consulting and education needs related to coding quality, compliance assessments, external payer reviews, coding education, interim coding management and coding workflow operations reviews. Work Location: This position works onsite from 3 hospital facilities. 80% of the time will be in New Hyde Park on Long Island, and the rest split between a location in Yonkers and Jamaica, NY.

This is an entry level position responsible for processing all release of information (ROI), specifically medical record requests, in a timely and efficient manner ensuring accuracy and providing customers with the highest quality product and customer service. Associate must at all times safeguard and protect the patient’s right to privacy by ensuring that only authorized individuals have access to the patient’s medical information and that all releases of information are in compliance with the request, authorization, company policy and HIPAA regulations.

Typical Day
• Preferred understanding of HIPAA requirements for releasing medical records and
medical record requests
• Handling inbound and outbound calls, email, fax and other administrative tasks
• Assisting walk up patients and/or clients

- This position covers multiple sites, so travel is required
- Full-time, Monday – Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm CST (on occasion 7:30am - 4pm)
- Process medical records requests. Front desk, phones, mail, faxes, patient walk-in's

What We’re Looking For

The Health Information Operations Supervisor is responsible for client/customer service and serves as a knowledge expert for the HIS staff. The role focuses on front line People management and training, as well as ensuring processes are completed in compliance with established guidelines. This role may also assist leadership with planning, developing, and implementing departmental or regional projects. This role provides support to Health Information Operations Manager. The Health Information Operations Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining workflow and productivity of HIS's as well as Handling escalated situations and driving a positive work environment. The Health Information Operations Supervisor will also assist in the new hire process, meeting with clients, and developing staff at multiple sites.
Work Location: This position involves a hybrid of remote/work from home and onsite, with the onsite work occuring at medical clinic and hospital sites in the Tampa FL 33613 .
