The Health Information Operations Supervisor is responsible for client/customer service and serves as a knowledge expert for the HIS staff. The role focuses on front line People management and training, as well as ensuring processes are completed in compliance with established guidelines. This role may also assist leadership with planning, developing, and implementing departmental or regional projects. This role provides support to Health Information Operations Manager. The Health Information Operations Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining workflow and productivity of HIS's as well as Handling escalated situations and driving a positive work environment. The Health Information Operations Supervisor will also assist in the new hire process, meeting with clients, and developing staff at multiple sites.

This position is remote; however, candidates must be available to work in the Pacific Time Zone. Applicants for this role must be available to work between the hours of 7:00 AM and 6:30 PM Pacific Time, shifts will vary based upon business need. This position is responsible for processing all release of information (ROI) specifically medical record requests in a timely and efficient manner ensuring accuracy and providing customers with the highest quality product and customer service. This is as intermediate level position with at least 1 year related HIM experience. In addition to HIS I Foundation, HIS II is responsible for training HIS I staff and providing reports to manager and/or the facility.

The Profee Auditing Specialist will respond to consulting and education needs related to coding quality, compliance assessments, external payer reviews, coding education, interim coding management and coding workflow operations reviews. Offer meaningful information to meet customer expectations including identifying and proposing solutions for customer issues. Develop and maintain account relationships through responsiveness and calm, reflective work practices. Work cooperatively with the Data Quality & Coding Compliance leadership and scheduling for optimal services outcome.

- Full-Time: Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5:00 PM EST
- Location: This role will be performed at one location (Farmington, CT 06030)
- Comfortable working in a high-volume production environment.
- Processing medical record requests by taking calls from patients, insurance companies and attorneys to provide medical status.
- Documenting information in multiple platforms using two computer monitors.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Word and Excel)

• Previous experience working in a medical office environment (preferred, not required)
